Nicholas Hakimi, LCSW
Pronouns: he/they
Hi, I’m Nicholas (he/they), a warm and grounded queer psychotherapist in NYC. I work with individuals, children, and adolescents, with a focus on BIPOC and neurodivergent clients navigating complex identities and life transitions.
As someone of Latinx, Middle Eastern, and Jewish descent, my multicultural upbringing, experiences with immigration, and growing up in a low-income household shape how I practice. I understand how culture, identity, and systems influence mental health, relationships, and the ways we move through the world.
I use a trauma-informed, social justice-oriented approach to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, family and relationship dynamics, substance use, migration stress, and experiences of systemic oppression, as well as sexuality, non-monogamy, kink, and BDSM.
My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative space where you can explore your experiences without judgment, build deeper self-understanding, and develop tools for healing and resilience.
Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and aligned with your most authentic self. If this resonates with you, I’d be honored to support you in your healing.
I offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
